This is being written from Leh, the headquarters of Ladakh. Simmy (my wife) and I arrived here late last night after a gruelling 2-day trip across a great stretch of the Himalayas, leaving Manali on the 11th morning. The route was spectacular, often crossing passes over 17,000 ft.!
It had always been my ambition to visit Ladakh, and finally, here we are. We plan a small trek from Likir to Temisgam on the 16th July. Will write more as and when I get time.
